The team behind PAES

Developed PAES over three decades ago while working as a transition teacher in Kansas. Validated the PAES lab in her 1998 doctoral dissertation at the University of Kansas. "We never really know what a student can do until we give them a chance to try."

Judy's daughter and co-founder. Grew up with PAES in her mother's classroom, collated the first manuals in the family basement, and has watched PAES grow into a peer-reviewed assessment used across the US, UK, Canada, and Guam. Today she directs the PAES Scan App and supervisor training. B.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Kansas.

Judy's son. Background in public service across agriculture, community-based employment, sourcing, warehousing, and quality control. Holds certification in weights and measures.

Joined PAES in 2019 after seven years as a paraeducator in special education, most recently in an intensive support classroom in a high school. First exposed to PAES in 2014. Works across technical support, training content, and program refinement.

Certified PAES trainer and regional rep covering Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Leads training coordination across the US network.

Certified PAES trainer delivering on-site setup and live supervisor training. Also regional rep for Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.

Leads sales and marketing coordination across the PAES rep network. Regional rep for Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
